09/17/25 – Think WIND CHILL, cold is cold but throw in the WIND and cold is COLDER. Ditto when comparing a 4′ x 8′ table to a 6′ x 12′ table, on paper the numbers look oh so simple. Disassembled my first 6′ x 12′ snooker table on 09/17/25 at the age of 77. It was a major WIND CHILL surprise, in my opinion, TRIPLE the job of a 4′ x 8′ table with 1″ 3-piece slate. 7-piece slate helped but 2′ thick slate did not help and made it tougher than 3 piece 1″ slate, 4′ x 8′ .
